MG Motor India has announced that its electric roadster, the MG Cyberster, emerged as the top-selling sports car in India in calendar year 2025.
According to the company, the Cyberster has crossed cumulative sales of over 500 units within six months of going on sale in the Indian market. MG attributes this performance to demand through its premium retail channel, MG Select, which exclusively handles sales of the brand’s higher-end electric vehicles.
MG also stated that the MG9 has become a “segment leader,” though the company did not disclose segment definitions or detailed sales numbers for the model. Like the Cyberster, the MG9 is also retailed through MG Select outlets.
