The Scorpio N facelift will include a dual-pane panoramic sunroof and focus on safety with advanced driver assistance systems.
Mahindra is gearing up to introduce a mid-cycle update for the Scorpio N, and recent test sightings suggest that the facelift will bring meaningful upgrades in design, technology and safety. While the SUV will continue to build on its rugged, body-on-frame foundation, the refreshed version is expected to feel noticeably more modern, both inside and out, because of the new features and design.
Visually, the Scorpio N facelift is likely to receive subtle yet effective styling changes. Test vehicles point to a redesigned front grille featuring horizontal elements instead of the current vertical layout. This tweak would also mean that the grille would now be much larger than the current one. The front bumper design also appears to have been revised, and Mahindra may introduce fresh alloy wheel designs to further differentiate the facelift from the existing model. Lighting elements are expected to remain largely familiar, though minor detailing updates cannot be ruled out.
The most significant updates are expected inside the cabin. The facelifted Scorpio N is likely to get a larger touchscreen infotainment system, which is derived from the Thar Roxx. The dashboard layout is revised to accommodate this bigger screen, along with repositioned air vents for a cleaner, more modern look. There is also a strong expectation of a fully digital instrument cluster, replacing the current semi-analogue setup, at least in the top-end variants. In addition, Mahindra may refresh the interior colour schemes and materials to elevate the overall cabin ambience.
Another notable addition could be a dual-pane panoramic sunroof. This feature would add to the sense of space inside the SUV and align the Scorpio N with newer rivals that already offer large sunroofs as a key comfort feature.
Safety and driver assistance will be a major focus of the facelift. Higher variants are expected to introduce Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems, including features such as adaptive cruise control, lane assistance and autonomous emergency braking. A 360-degree camera system is also likely to be offered, improving ease of parking and low-speed manoeuvring in tight spaces.
Mechanically, the Scorpio N facelift is expected to remain unchanged. It should continue with the same 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engine options, paired with manual and automatic transmissions. Rear-wheel drive will remain standard, with four-wheel drive available on select diesel variants.
